Visited on Easter Monday at around 11.50am. Had a lovely flat white coffee and husband had a great iced coffee. Also enjoyed their nicely presented lamington and free Easter eggs! Doggo friendly with water provided. Quick and friendly service. Will return to try the breakfast options soon!

We are Stafford locals that have been aware of La Familia since they first opened in our neighbourhood and finally made the leisurely walk to visit them this sunny Saturday morning as part of our lovely diversion on our exercise walking route and we are glad we did ! Had a lovely smooth cappuccino, yummy warmed lemon & poppyseed muffin and a surprise treat when I saw they had fresh madeleines on offer ! Dog friendly with a great atmosphere and friendly service. Will return soon to try out their breakfast options.

Such a lovely little cafe with good wholesome food, lovely coffee and smoothies. Wonderful relaxed environment to stop in for a cake and coffee. Friendly staff working for good causes with profits going to disability services, First Nations initiatives and other community groups. The chicken schnitzel on a milk bun and coco smoothly were tasty. Owners are a young family that have built the business from scratch and take pride in their place. La Familia is a gathering place where you will feel nourished, welcome and relaxed! If you’re on the north side take a detour to La Familia!

WOW! This is what I call Gem in suburbs. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with with warm and inviting atmosphere. The food is delish, rich flavors. But the real star in the COFFEE, bold full-bodies, and topped with thick, velvety crema. The staff is attentive and friendly. Quick caffeine fix or leisurely meeting, MUST VISIT spot!

A Heartwarming Experience at La Familia Espresso Bar & Patisserie We visited La Familia Espresso Bar & Patisserie today for brunch to celebrate my mother's 91st birthday, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and polite, making us feel truly welcome. Our coffee and meals were served promptly, and everything was absolutely delicious. What made the visit even more special was the kindness of a wonderful stranger who, upon overhearing us celebrating my mother’s birthday, generously paid for her breakfast without us even realising it. Such acts of kindness remind us of the amazing people in this world! As if that wasn’t enough, the staff also surprised my mother with a beautiful citrus tart, which left her completely overwhelmed with joy. Not only was the coffee rich and flavourful, but the meals were fantastic, and the overall atmosphere was warm and inviting. If you're looking for a place where exceptional service meets great food and heartfelt hospitality, La Familia Espresso Bar & Patisserie is a must-visit. We highly recommend giving them a try—you won’t be disappointed!

Tucked behind a couple of screening trees on a quiet suburban street off Stafford Road, this little cafe is easy to miss - but you’d be missing out. Mark and Amelia, the owners, have created more than just a cafe; they’ve built a sanctuary. Mark, the resident roastmaster, takes pride in crafting specialty coffee, while the pastry selection - rich, flaky, and indulgent - adds a touch of decadence. Together, they’ve made a community hub that feels as warm as the coffee they pour. I ordered a turkey and brie toasted sandwich, a pain au chocolat, and a coffee - all for about $23. The coffee was smooth and satisfying, the chocolate croissant was buttery perfection, and the sandwich was soft yet crisp in all the right places, with perfectly balanced fillings. Pet lovers, take note: this place is dog-friendly, right down to the puppicino—a whipped cream treat for your furry companion. If you’re local, you’re probably already a regular. If you’re new to the area or just passing through Stafford, stop by. It’s not just a cafe; it’s a little pocket of calm in a busy world, and it’s worth discovering.

I stumbled across this coffee shop today when needing a caffeine hit before a long drive and I am glad I stopped at this one. The coffee was delicious, my croissant hit the spot but most importantly all the staff were friendly, warm and welcoming. I only grabbed a takeaway this time but would love to return to dine in next time I am in Brisbane. ⭐
